Rigging

Riggers are the first ones in and the last ones out of a concert venue. If you're into climbing and have a thirst for adventure, a penchant for accuracy, and a desire to work in the exciting field of live entertainment, you might have what it takes to be a professional rigger in live entertainment. But before you put on your harness and start climbing the wire rope ladder to the arena steel, make sure you understand how to protect yourself and those around you. The STEADI course provides you with fundamental skills used to support the lead rigger and teaches you situational awareness when working around the rigging  enviornment. We're here to guide you.

Electrics

In live event production, the electricians take care of everything that plugs in including lighting, control, automation, and a lot more. There's nothing more invigorating than helping to put together a state-of-the-art lighting and video system and watching it come to life before a live audience. With the STEADI course, you can be a part of it if you have a basic understanding of electrics and a healthy dose of hands-on training and experience. By the time you finish the STEADI course you'll be ready to contribute confidently to the crew and start building a career in live event production doing what you always wanted to do.

Lighting, Audio, Video

Today's technology is moving at an incredibly fast pace, but the key to keeping up is to have a really solid foundation grounded in the basics. The STEADI course is designed to give you a level of understanding that will help you develop supportive skills in lighting, audio, and video technologies, as well as the hands-on training to get you started down the path to a long career in live event production. In the STEADI course, you'll be working with the equipment that you will eventually use to earn a living and you'll be properly trained to set it up, operate it, troubleshoot it, maintain it, and load it out again for the next show.
