Prepare your Career in Live Event Production! The Stage Technician Education and Development Intensive (STEADI) is an entry-level, intensive hands-on education in live event production, grounded in safety and providing the first steps for a successful and sustainable career. The course provides a broad basic knowledge of standards, best practices, and common skills used every day in live event production with an emphasis on safety, filling the gaps that are not always taught in other programs. The program teaches basic electrics, situational awareness in the rigging environment, hands-on skills and most importantly, safety training—such as why and when you need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). The STEADI Course is for those seeking work and employers who need well-trained individuals.
